About us

The Jackson County Childcare Taskforce began in 2018 as a business-led group of individuals from community employers, public health, education, and child care providers working together to increase the accessibility to quality and affordable child care in our county. After extensive research and analysis, the Taskforce established the Jackson County Child Care Network, Inc. The JCCCN is a non-profit, nonstock corporation with five local directors who oversee the activities of the Network.

Our mission is to increase access to quality child care for the families of Jackson County. The purpose of the JCCCN is to facilitate a community approach and structure as a solution to our current child care crisis while fostering economic growth and development.

The vision of the JCCCN is to design a solution that creates a sustainable, quality and stable childcare environment in Jackson County. The network model will provide a vital link between businesses, employees, families, and child care providers.

JCCCN continues to work to provide support to existing providers.

The work they do to care for the young children in our community provides a learning environment that supports growth and development in our children, the future leaders of our community. Their guidance prepares children to enter the school system through their nurturing care.  Continually finding ways to show our providers we care and appreciate their endless dedication remains a top priority for JCCCN.
